10-Day Caribbean Cruise on Virgin Voyages’ Resilient Lady | KMD Travel
🚢 All Aboard the Resilient Lady
From the moment we stepped on board in Puerto Rico, we knew this cruise was going to hit different. Resilient Lady isn’t just a ship — it’s a floating boutique hotel with serious personality. Grown and sexy, adult-only vibes with zero stress and all the extras. Our balcony hammock became my personal sanctuary (seriously, I may never cruise without one again).

🍽️ Dining That Deserves a Standing Ovation
Let’s talk food — because Resilient Lady delivered flavor on every level.
Highlights?
Razzle Dazzle: That pork belly, Old Bay wings, secret burger, and the dark chocolate s’mores? Game. Changer.
Pink Agave: Spicy, bold, and full of Mexican flair.
The Wake: A steakhouse with a view — classy and delicious.
Gunbae: This Korean BBQ spot is more than a meal, it's a party! We went three times — that’s how good it was. From the energetic vibe to the hilarious drinking games and tabletop grilling, it was one of the most fun dinners onboard. The marinated short ribs were chef's kiss, and even though the pork belly needed a bit more flavor, the whole experience made it totally worth it.
Extra Virgin: We couldn’t get enough — we dined here twice! The pasta was fresh, flavorful, and totally comforting.
The Pizza Place: Grab-and-go slices that hit the spot every time. Late-night cravings? Solved.
Lick Me Till Ice Cream: Yes, that’s the name — and yes, it was delicious. We may have visited more than once…
Found an eatery that was a total gem! It was tucked away and had the fluffiest, most flavor-packed bao — so good! I can’t remember the name to save my life, but it is on the 16th floor, right beside Richard’s Rooftop.
The Galley: Our go-to for breakfast. So many options, and everything was fresh and fast.
Let’s Taco About It: We tried it — the concept was fun, but it didn’t wow us like the others.
And let’s not forget the cocktails (we made it our mission to try them all... for research, of course 😅).

🏕️ Port Stops That Stole Our Hearts
Each island had its own flavor, and we made the most of every stop:
Tortola, BVI – We sipped fish soup and painkillers at Selly’s, then doubled down at Pusser’s. Island vibes, unlocked.
Antigua – Shirley Heights, Nelson’s Dockyard, and a sunset finish at Valley Church Beach. Pure magic.
St. Kitts – History and scenery at Romney Manor, Brimstone Hill Fortress, and Palm Court Gardens.
Martinique – A powerful day of reflection at Anse Caffard Memorial and Josephine’s Plantation.
St. Lucia – Marigot Bay views, Soufrière charm, and the peaceful beauty of Morne Coubaril.
Barbados adventure – strolling down Rihanna Drive and enjoying cocktails at Sunbury Plantation, capturing the island’s vibrant culture and fun Caribbean vibes.
St. Vincent – Botanical Gardens and breathtaking lookouts that reminded us how beautiful the Caribbean truly is.
🕺 Entertainment + Vibes Onboard
From poolside DJs and themed parties to intimate performances and random moments of joy (yes, there was dancing in elevators), there was always something happening. The vibe? Chill when you want it, lit when you need it.
We also found time for wellness — a little gym time between bites (kinda 😅), but we did take advantage of the walking track after dinner. And let’s not forget Trivia Nights at The Social Club — fun, competitive, and a great way to bond with fellow Sailors.
As for shows and entertainment? Virgin knows how to keep things exciting:
Kimberly Clark’s Comedy Show had us laughing out loud — witty, fun, and unapologetically real.
The Mind Mangler brought the magic and the comedy — we laughed until we cried.
Lola’s Library stunned us with aerial tricks, wild characters, and a high-energy performance that had the whole crowd cheering.
Dave the Magician blended humor and illusion in the most fun way — truly entertaining from start to finish.
We didn’t make it to the Pajama Party, Scarlet Night, or We Fancy — our inner party owls didn’t show up. But if you’re into nightlife, Virgin has you covered with themed parties that go all out!
And on the final day, we slowed things down with a relaxing and elegant Tea Time. Finger sandwiches, desserts, and tea served in beautiful surroundings — it was the perfect, classy wind-down before disembarking.
🌅 The Bittersweet Goodbye
We wrapped things up where we started — back in Puerto Rico — hearts full, bellies happy, and already planning our next voyage. Then it was wheels up to Charlotte with memories to last a lifetime.
